High Absorbency Resin 'TG-SAP'

Highly absorbent! A superabsorbent resin developed through special polymerization technology.

"TG-SAP" is a highly water-absorbent resin among superabsorbent polymers, developed through specialized polymerization technology, which can maintain its water retention capacity even under pressure. The water absorption capacity of superabsorbent polymers is significantly influenced by osmotic pressure. The presence of high concentrations of -COO⁻ ions and Na⁺ ions creates a difference in ion concentration between the interior of the superabsorbent polymer and the external aqueous solution, resulting in osmotic pressure that causes water to be absorbed into the superabsorbent polymer. 【Features】 ■ Superabsorbent polymer ■ Extremely high water absorption capacity ■ Maintains water retention even under pressure ■ Developed through specialized polymerization technology For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Fundamentals and mechanisms of superabsorbent polymers, as well as technologies for imparting biodegradability and their application developments.

High absorbent resins, primarily for hygienic purposes, are expanding in the market! With increasing demand from emerging countries, a presentation focused on materials in this field, where demand is tightening!

**Lecture Summary** Superabsorbent polymers are experiencing market expansion, particularly in hygiene applications. However, the reality is that current products are made from petroleum, and despite containing a large amount of moisture after use, many of them are incinerated. If superabsorbent polymers could be made from natural materials that are renewable resources and could also be endowed with biodegradability, it is expected that various issues could be resolved. In this lecture, I will clearly explain the characteristics and challenges of current superabsorbent polymers, as well as specific methods and significance of imparting biodegradability, and I would like to consider the future ideal state of superabsorbent polymers.
